Yinz Know About Primantis, n'at, Right?

 If you have ever visited Pittsburgh, there's a good chance you've experienced what I call the yinzer vocabulary. It consists of normal dialogue that each American shares, yet, is slightly different than the common American's. With words such as yinz, gumbands, jimmies, and n'at, you'd have thought you just stepped onto the short bus to school. You're in Pittsburgh, my friend and you better get used to it. You hear it everywhere you go; school, gym, grocery store, and work.
It actually gets on my nerves when someone uses 'yinz' several times in the same paragraph. I had a woman at work ask me what my friends and I were doing this weekend. She actually phrased it, "What are yinz jagoffs doing this weekend? Yinz going anywhere?" I seriously almost hit her in her ovary. Why not just wear a shirt that says, "I've never been out of the city, could you pass me another Iron City?" and be done with it? There could be some readers that are unfamiliar with what I am talking about. If you're one of those readers and/or simply new to the city, it's only a matter of time before you experience and try to decipher these words.
