It has been a while since I last posted something online. I’ve just been busy….and somewhat lazy, not gonna lie.
It's rare that my mom says anything out of the blue that really embarrasses me. She’s always been pretty good staying low key with the awkward comments; especially in public. Every once in a while, she’ll slip and I can’t help, but laugh.
Following is a story about a story. It’s a phone conversation I had with my mom a few days ago about this story:
Mom: “So when are you gonna take more pics for your site?”
Me: “I dunno. Maybe this weekend if the weather is nice.”
Mom: “I have people asking me when you’re gonna have new pictures. They really like them.”
Me: “Haha. Do they actually read the stories, too?!”
Mom: “YES!!...you little turd. Actually, I haven’t read any of them lately. I’ll go check them out while we talk.”
Me: “Heh ok.”
Mom: “Dude, I hate you. Haha what is this about.”
Me: “Hehe.”
Mom: “I am going to start the support the student sarah fund. I accept donations of all sizes an collecting all post money owed. Want to contribute ha ha ha…..Can I contribute…”
Me: “mom, Mom, MOM! STOP READING!!! Oh my god! I don’t want to hear those words come out of your mouth!
Mom: “What?! Well, then you shouldn’t write them.”
Me: “New rule: No reading my stuff I write while we’re on the phone!”
I love my mom.
